Bugs And Butterflies

We had visitors today. Our daughter Ell, her housemate D and of course Vixen the Dobermann.

I took Ell into town to scour the charity shops for vintage clothes. And I bought a couple of nearly new hardback books. 

This afternoon I took Hollie for a breezy walk up the hill and despite the wind buffeting the hedgerows I managed a few pictures to make my collage. 

Lots of soldier beetles, a lovely spotted longhorn and a Ringlet butterfly that kindly stayed still long enough for me to get a reasonable picture.

A good day overall and nice to see the kids.
