Tourist trail

Slow start! Shopping with CarbBoy, then a restorative late breakfast at the City Cafe. As CarbBoy wolfed down his pancakes I remembered that this was the pancake stop I made them walk miles too to tire them out when they were young and boisterous.

Then off with the Canadians to finish the history tour that was rained off yesterday (with Mr B as historian). While he talked knowledgeably about kings and garrisons, I sneakily found a guide to the Harry Potter gravestones at Greyfriars, and won some plaudits for finding them.

A mini pub crawl, then fond farewells.

For us, a bit more shopping, then home for napping, Tour de France highlights, pizza, and rubbish telly.
