The painter came at 8 o’clock hoping for some dry weather. He only got 2 days work done last week.

I was at the hardware shop for it opening to buy paint so that I could do some work while there’s no freezer.

With heavy showers forecast for the afternoon the painter finished at midday and I walked down to the shops for a few groceries before starting my painting.
