2023 Saturday — The Shoreline

We headed to Cambria, 12 - 15 miles north of us, to visit the nursery and gardens. Mr. Fun wanted to get several more Yarrow plants for our backyard flower beds.

We also stopped at the "Re•create" thrift store; it's the nicest thrift store in the general area. The "Garden Shed" was another place we wandered thru; it is a collection of several shops, each with its own proprietor. All with a variety of things that decorate and clutter a room (depending on how they are displayed/arranged and/or the mood I am in.

I find walking thru the green gardens very therapeutic and nourishing. That causes me to be delighted that we are watching our backyard become a garden.

On the way back to the house, we took a brief drive past the Cayucos pier to learn what the weekend “crowd” was like. This photo shows what we saw.
