One of my favourite trees in the garden - acer palmatum "orange dream".
Leaves are orange when they first appear and again in the autumn, has a lovely shape to it with densely packed leaves.

After a huge coughing fit this morning, did the food shopping, stopped off the get some BBQ charcoal, baked a cake, made a pasta dish, iced said cake, did washing up, planted a clematis in the garden, popped up the allotment to do some watering, cooked dinner, backed up some photos, watched some TV and now back in bed. Phew!

Classic car show tomorrow, with the promise of pleasant weather. And red kytes.
