Weathered pillar

I have previously posted one or more photos of the derelict house behind this fence and gate. That's now impossible because the vegetation has taken over completely. There's a feral cat in the yard - totally unapproachable as they are but it can easily hide away in its jungle. The sharp-eyed amongst you may notice a shopping trolley chucked into the bushes behind the padlocked gate. Beginning to rust of course, due to the wet weather.

The fence pillar, though standing and solid for now, is showing signs of weathering. Its render is discoloured and starting to fall off. Once the water gets in a crack...
