Mark Oliver Everett, and his various personae, is one of my all time favourite artists.

These cds were just sitting on my computer desk as I had them out for some reason the other day. They aren't all of my Eels material so I must have been selective.

Everett's material flits from grandoise elegance to childlike simplicity accompanying lyrics of such emotional integrity that often causes me to stop in awe.

"Staggering genius" indeed.
