A rather cross look

Today's extra was an insurance photo taken shortly after arrival at the office. I liked the corona-like  effect from the crepuscular rays as the sun was rising.

On the way home I went to Owairaka (called Mount Albert by the colonists from England) for a walk around the volcanic cone. The young song thrush flew rapidly into the branches of a tree beside the summit road. The young bird made me think it looked rather put out by being seen
