An Indulgence

My friend M bought me a voucher for afternoon tea for two for my birthday earlier in the year.

Today was the day to enjoy it…and enjoy it we did. In case you think the plates look a little depleted you’d be right. We had already eaten the cheese straws and sausage rolls and started on the sandwiches before I remembered to take a photo for blip.

We brought some of the cakes back home which we will enjoy with coffee tomorrow.

PS: the hotel (The Grove in Cromer) has been in the same family since 1936!
