Maggie and Ben - 

(friends since kindergarten, M is next door - now and then - she is a pistol, spent this last year in school in Beiruit and speaks Arabic pretty darned well - really an wonderful fun sparkly SMART athletic gal, coming up on 17)

(extra - a sense of the lake this evening, although i have to say not nearly so crazy as it used to be - just young folks having fun with picnics and water play - all very good - but sure am ready for the display to be done and the fireworks over for another year and sleep to be peaceful)
