Greenery

We met up with friends Steve & Julia in Pontypool (South Wales, UK) to do a cycle ride along the National Cycle Network to Blaenavon, using the old railway tracks adapted as footpaths.

As the cafe was closed at Blaenavon Steam Railway we continued towards Brynmawr to The Whistle Stop Inn where they were open and did a 'bottomless' cuppa. Our friends enjoyed a meal and that looked good.

This weeks W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge (hosted by Steveng) has the theme 'green' and I like the photo' of Mrs BB and Julia cycling through a tunnel with some greenery at the start and end of the tunnel. I like it as an abstract photo'.

The return journey was all downhill and very enjoyable making a pleasant 21 mile cycle ride.
