Bananas!

I saw this banana plant at Eden today. It wasn’t even in a biome, but growing outdoors. It was really tall - probably about 10ft. It’s so sculptural. I wondered if I could grow one in my garden. But I suppose the ex-clay pit that is now Eden is warmer, even outdoors. Today the outdoor temperature was only 15 degrees C, and I felt cold, but down in Eden it was warm and humid.

Today’s Eden walk was slow because some of the group, including the walk leader, kept stopping to pick and eat fruit from the many growing bushes - gooseberries and many different types of red and black berries. I think they should have left the fruit for the birds.
