Slime

The weather today has been very showery.  Some lovely sunny intervals, but interspersed with very sharp showers.

I didn't feel up to a trip out, so the girls opted for a trip to Secret Valley Wildlife park, which is just a few kilometres away.  They managed to dodge the showers, and had fun, including meeting cockroaches and snakes, and feeding goats and llamas.

When they got home, Z and S popped out for some shopping, and have cooked a lovely Thai curry for dinner.

R had promised Robin that they would make slime, but the Swedish recipe she planned to use contained ingredients that we didn't seem to be able to find in Ireland.  So she found another recipe that required Chia seeds and cornflour.  The resulting slime was more runny than it should have been - but that didn't deter the boys.

Milo wasn't keen to put slime on his own head, but loved watching Robin.  They've been bathed since this, and are now sleeping well.
