Snipe Fly

I was at Trentham looking in my usual spot for insects. There were plenty of meadow and field grasshopper of all sizes. I quite liked the one in the extras having a leg stretch!

This fly looked a bit of a beastie! I'm not sure if it's a biter or not. I've never seen one before.
