IKEA Valet

I've had these IKEA clothes stands shaped like a man and a woman for easily 20 + years.  They came originally from my parents house and were designed in the 80's by Ehlen Johansson.  

I've always liked their quirkiness but they have been in the garage following a Covid-house-sort-out for the last 3 years.  Reluctant to dump them, earlier this year I thought that they could be useful in the garden for climbing plants.

In searching for a blip this evening I took a photo, and in searching for something to say about them, I found out something surprising.
