Thistle

Brute of a day.
A late finish and tempted to not move as it started spotting with rain but decompressed with a walk to the river where the harebells were emerging as well as this handsome thistle. As I was taking the photo I saw movement on the other side of the riverbank and thought it was rabbits running but realised it was two young fox cubs play fighting … too far away to photograph though. Great to watch… just like Springwatch! 

I’m not sure watching Andy Murray is the best way to de-stress!
