Zinnia

Yellow Zinnia blooming in the front yard. Zinnias are sometimes called the 'hardest-working flower in the Summer garden'. Although they aren't native to our area, I absolutely love them! They're low maintenance, heat and drought tolerant, and come in many bright and beautiful colors. Pollinators and butterflies adore them and can't seem to get enough. Zinnias are annuals and will reseed themselves but I 'deadhead' them aggressively and save the seeds for the next year. Special Thanks to BikerBear for continuing to host FlowerFriday.
