Heron

I took a detour to look at the river and see what was happening.  Various birds and ducks were all doing their thing and a number of people, including myself, witnessed a huge seagull catch and then swallow a fish whole, head first.  I reckon the fish was about 8 inches long, it put up a fight but the seagull was clearly hungry and very efficient.  There were a couple of herons flying about as well and so today's blip shows one of them.
