Watering the lemon tree

in the cool of the morning.

It's lovely to see our elderly neighbours enjoying their small plots of land with vegetables and fruit trees. I asked Juan how he was finding the heat. “It's fine”, he said, “I don't have to go anywhere”.

In the extra, a water trough I found in the hills today fed by a well. This trough is primarily for goats.  Water is increasingly scarce in these parts of Andalucia and desertification is a major concern as climate change brings increasingly extreme heat conditions.

Enjoy your weekend fellow blippers.
