Skiddaw from Hope Park, Keswick.

We got the bus from Buttermere to Keswick, which goes via Honister and Borrowdale.

What a fabulous bus journey!

Then after a wander around Keswick by Derwentwater, we got the bus back to Buttermere via Whinlatter Pass.

( Any bus journey at the moment is £2...one of the few good things this Government has done in the last 13 years )...(our journeys were free, using our bus passes )

Home again now, and the plume of hot air has reached Cockermouth!
