Celebrating early

Adventure Girl is 12 next week and today’s strike day presented an opportunity to do birthday celebrations early as we will not see her on the day.
She’s battled through a difficult year with Long Covid and it’s really good to see her having more good days now and to see her being a bit more of her old self. Still a long haul.
And here she is out for lunch and beating her grandad at cards while we wait for the rest of the food to arrive.
