Raised bed painted!

Managed to take advantage of a very warm and dry day by painting the new raised bed. It needs a lot more soil to fill up but we made a good start. Hopefully we will complete the task over the weekend.

The reason for the raised bed is that in that area there is barely 2 inches of soil. There is an old tarmac path underneath which was part of the previuos orchid some 70 years ago.  Too much effort to sort out so obvious solution was to build up fresh soil within a raised bed.  Works for us!
