BYPASS

No, not that one. The other one.

Although it is an arterial route no surgery was needed for this one.

We broke all our own rules today and went to play by the road.

Mrs I chose to seek a walk we knew about but had never done before.

Park in Bridgnorth Low Town, walk along the mighty River Severn, through delectable water meadows (another word for flood plain) under the bypass which also spans the river, through the superb Riverside Caravan Park and out into sublime farmland, always in touch with the river.

Hollie did a lot of splashing and swimming and enjoyed the chance to cool off as it was quite a warm day (24 degrees C)

On the way home we stopped off at The Boyne Arms in Burwarton. Many of you will have heard of the Burwarton Show. It was where we had our honeymoon nearly 46 years ago. Nice to go back but it is not the same. Never is, is it?

Another jolly nice day for a pair of old codgers with nothing else to do....
