Unknown flowers

After finishing my interview at BBC Scotland this morning I drove to my mothers for a cup of tea and a catch up.

These flowers are growing in her garden, but we have no idea what they are. All she can remember about them is that they were bought in Dunoon, but that didn't help with identification.
