Greetings from Moscow. I arrived yesterday, not knowing until four o'clock the previous day whether my passport and visa would arrive. I'd just come in from a choir tour in England that morning and got straight on the phone to track my passport down. It's a long story which involves a fair degree of inefficiency and idiocy, none of it mine for once. I'd more or less resigned myself to an extra ten days at home but now I'm here, I'm happy.
I took this in the Gum department store. Two chaps take a break from shopping and one looks at me suspiciously as I snap away. He had an SLR so he shouldn't have minded. I never asked.
I brightened the photo up and then added a sepia tint.
