Crux

After a showery day the sky cleared a bit this evening. A few tries at capturing some of the milky way and this came out best. The Southern Cross is near the centre of the image with the Coalsack dark nebula to the left. Near the bottom of the image is the Eta Carinae nebula. Needless to say best viewed large in a dark room.
