Still life

Another hot day. Went to Westlands Leisure Centre with the girls to watch another film and have some lunch.  Afterwards went to the farmshop and did some gardening.

Extra photo: a large lavender plant.  I bought it just for a few pence from the supermarket some years ago as it was just a small shoot and not thriving. It has really come into its own now and the scent is very strong.  Apparently it is the species lavender oil is made from - but it would take 50 stems to make a tiny drop!
