Salajärvi

It's been a rainy day, which was supposed to start around the noon earliest.

So we went cycling around 9:30 and the plan was to do only 24km route. Which we did. It has some climbing segments so it's a proper workout with these kilometers. The thought was that my husband would be able to go for another ride by himself before the rain would hit us.

On around the 10km point I started to notice the clouds gathering and it looked really pretty all around. Even stopped to take a photo. We could feel the air getting really hot and kind of smouldering.

It started to rain huge drops about 500 meters before home and then it just poured down when we were stopping  at our doorstep. When we were inside and closed the door, the thunder made it's appearance with quite a boom. So our timing was quite good, but my husband is lacking his training. At least he did some hills double as fast as he could and got some training.

My legs are destroyed.

It's been raining and thundering on and off. I think most of the rain is now behind us. Some showers still on the radar, but after that we should be heading towards warmed and sunnier week. This rainy week has really made wonders to the nature. It's really revived everything.

Niklas is here and we have our traditional sauna evening ahead of us.

Salajärvi is the lake in the photo. Translated it means Secret Lake.
