Thistle do.

A dry morning and snapped this thistle which has the cheek to grow in Wales. 

The photo in extras was the scene that greeted me as I was about to leave mum's nursing home this afternoon. Waited ten minutes but it wasn't easing off, dashed to the car (no coat it was sunny when I arrived) got soaked and didn't notice the two inches of water across the road and surrounding the car - soaked both ends now! Took quite a while to get home as the roads were badly flooded in places. Now have dry clothes, feet up with nice mug of tea.
