Saturday Six

Awake early, decided to get up & try do something in the garden.

Cut back the heather & winter Jasmine that was taking over the kitchen steps.

Cut a bit off the top of forsythia as it's shot up.

Tried to weave in some of the summer Jasmine but think I'll need to get the ladder out to trim the top. It's just finished flowering.

Cutting off the seedheads of the wood aven before they jag & stick to my trousers.

Sat out for lunch.

Ran out of steam in the afternoon & snoozed, which was fine as it began to drizzly rain.

Still on off drizzle now with tennis TV on background after tea.

Red soldier beetle on its own on feverfew. There is a set of legs sticking out of one of the foxgloves presume a big bumblebee.
