This is not part of the herring gull brood that I blipped six days ago - they still have a bit to go before they are ready.
No, this is on a rooftop two along from those, and not herring gulls either but lesser black-backed gulls who have just a single offspring this year.

It did a couple of loops round, followed by its parents, before making a rather clumsy landing back on the roof.
