Life of a bubble maker

Lenny the Lumpsucker

Down to Eyemouth today for another dive around St Abbs. We met up with a couple of other divers from the club and went out on Wavedancer with Gary.

First dive was in anemone gully. Nice dive as the temperature seems to have gone up from 6 to around 9 degrees now. Nice and sunny but still green water. J managed to find a wolf fish while I found this Lumpsucker fish sitting out on his eggs on top of the reef. Seems the females come up and lay the eggs and then go back out to sea, while smaller males sit on the eggs.

The new strobe worked well but I think Cameras Underwater hasn't sent me the complete order. Need the connection pad from the fiber optic cable to the camera housing.

Second dive was the same as last time but we did see a cuckoo wrasse this time.

Stopped of for a coffee with Clare and collected her keys for next weekend before heading home for an early night.
