A protected walk

This is just a small area and the elevated platform may be there not only to protect people from all that might be on the ground but they are just going for a leisurely walk rather than a strenuous hike. The platform was about a foot off the ground so you needed to watch you step. 

As I walked through the woods Brisbane Waters could be seen through the trees. It was quiet and relaxing and weaved in different directions so you could walk for about 20 minutes before returning.
