Terceira

What a day - up at 5am for a short flight to Terceira island, then a lot of activity squeezed in as we lost half a day yesterday. 

Serra do Cume, hike Algar do Carlao to Furnas do Enxofre, wine tasting, lava cave visit, views of UNESCO world heritage site Angra do Heroismo, cows on the road and beautiful hydrangeas everywhere. 

There was a festival happening in the town that night but after the early start and 14k done we just enjoyed dinner & drinks in the hotel bar, overlooking the bay. Great day!
