Scottish space probe not off the ground

The Scottish space probe to Uranus is falling further behind schedule. Our reporter Angus Gunn put this point to the project team:
“By the time this thing reaches Uranus we will all be dead.”
“Technically you are correct, but mankind will have benefited in the long run.”
“How exactly?”
“I’ll  need to get back you on that.”
