Gee, Thanks Dad!

I've been trying 'forever' to get a decent shot of this Pileated father feeding his young. Either their backs were to me, they were too far away or there were branches and/or leaves in the way. Today Dad brought what looked like his son and daughter to the yard. Neither of them approached the BarkButter feeder, so he delivered mouthfuls of the tasty stuff to them. The small female might be the Mom but she looks too young and is most likely the daughter. We very seldom see the mature female at the feeder. Guess she's a 'purist' and prefers grubs and bugs.
