Second-time-around

New visitor

I met this new baby robin today. To get to this food, the robin has to fly across the road from the front of the house, then a long flight down the side of the house, past the greenhouse, to arrive in the tree where the food is hanging. His parents have been feeding here for a long time. It’s nice to think they’ve taught their young ones where to go for breakfast! I wonder how they taught them - ‘follow me’?

I don’t know how many there are because they haven’t got their colour yet and it’s harder to tell the difference between them.

It’s been very windy and quite cold, with sun and showers - not bad for April! But I prefer it to the high humidity we’ve been having.
