Soft sunshine (please see extra 1) and sharp showers, but luckily mostly the former.
In the afternoon we went to the allotment where I wrestled a plum tree with my bare hands, (for those who remember Bonzo Dog's Mr Apollo.) Not really, I had to dig it out and then journey to the centre of the earth trying to chase out all the big roots. The second extra is a young blackbird watching for disturbed worms, whilst at the same time saying, "feed me, I'm too busy sunbathing."
