End of Day

A long, busy one that ended very late.

Either side of thunderstorms that rumbled around between lunchtime and early evening, it was a decent day.  I even smuggled a load of laundry past the storms albeit very narrowly missing a soaking as I brought it in off the line.  Earlier I had potted on some pulsatilla and cyclamen seedlings and done some watering in the greenhouse.  Ruth and I spent a lot of time at the pottery, Ruth doing some more making and glazing, a last hurrah before she returns home tomorrow.   An unrelated crisis late in the day took the shine off a good day.

Achimenes received as Hugues Auffray but looks almost identical to two others I grow which came with different names.  Hmph.
