On the Lookout

Eleven walkers drove to Lake Hawea and walked from Flora Dora Parade to John Creek.  Six made it all the way, the other 5 walked at least 10K steps, or just over 7 k's, which is quite far enough on the foggy cold day.  +5C.  The local cafe was full, so some of us drove back to Wanaka for a welcome cuppa and cake.  All in all a wonderful day out, even though the sun didn't shine.

The Lookout is along the upper track, and the extra is of the plantings along Lake Hawea.
