A hard morning's work - pruning all the iceberg roses around the wedding lawn.  There's 32 of them - Mary did half and I did the other half.

Pruning roses sounds so easy - but it's hard work, and hard on the back, as well.

I always worry - it's a brutal process and I wonder how the roses can manage to come back.  But they do, and last year they looked magnificent.

Fingers crossed they will look ok this year.
