Not Your Ordinary Palm Tree

This is some type of palm tree that is across the street from where I live. I was searching for a new perspective on an ordinary object and this is the result. To get the picture I had to stick my camera along with my head inside the spines of the palm. I'm sure I was a sight to behold as people drove by in their cars especially when the camera was no longer visible and all they could see was part of me sticking out of the palm tree. What we as photographers will do to get a great photo! :-)
