Blipmeet with Paola

I met with Paola today for lunch at the garden centre near Iping common, and after lunch we went for a walk on the common, hoping to find the Heather Crab Spider like last year. Sadly it was not to be repeated, but I did find this rather lovely Mottled Bee Fly (Thyridanthrax fenestratus), a rather uncommon Bee fly of ericaceous heathland
