Briza!

Something new on the Dachs menu, Briza! It’s a Brezeln dough base and this one (the Briza Bavaria) boasts a topping of Obazda, Weißwurst, onions and, naturally, extra cheese. Look closely and you can see a pool of molten butter run-off! Strangely enough Dachs don’t include calorie info on their menu but just as well as this baby would bust the calorie counter! Tasted pretty good but I did suggest the base could be a tad thinner. I didn’t manage the crusts by the way, had to leave room for some of S’s roast pork.
We’d planned to go up Blomberg this morning but after half-an-hour the thunder started rolling and the rain came on so we reversed direction. Shame, we needed the training. Then it was the main business of the day - new fridge-freezer. Not as easy as we’d hoped, back and forwards to the shop three times to get all the measurements that different salesfolk said were needed (extra) but success in the end: we ended up buying the model I’d decided on when scouring the interweb yesterday. Delivery next Monday, no cold beer for a week!
