Here and Now

Ahhh...

A TA shift with MS today down to Tinker's Creek in Bedford Reservation.  Always a joy to be with her.  Always a joy to wander around this beautiful area.  One of my favorite parks.

We met two east African gentlemen in the picnic area looking for the US Immigration Office.  I looked it up and gave them directions.  That was the most unusual request for assistance to date.  Then a couple wanting to become trail ambassadors.  A mother with young children in the creek.  Lots of debris from someone's picnic by the water.  A hot day but cool in the shade of the trees, except when walking uphill.  :)

And the tiniest toad we've ever seen in the extras.  He's in a blade of grass!  He could only be measured in millimeters.

Backblips posted, if you're interested.
