At the Movies

It's a birthday week, with a number of events planned building up to the actual day on Friday.  The first event was to watch the new Mission Impossible film, released today.  L has always liked Tom Cruise so we headed to the local cinema in the afternoon.

The film was spectacular, a stunt laden blockbuster that you would expect.  Tom is a similar age to me but I wouldn't be caught doing any of the stunts he did for this movie.  It was also enjoyable spotting some of the locations we know in the movie, including Grand Central in Birmingham and Buttermere in the Lake District.

We topped off with a local restaurant to finish.
