Alstroemeria

Visiting Kanyl, we spent a while in his front garden playing with different telephoto lenses.  The front garden as it gives distant views unlike the back garden.

Then I wandered round the garden taking shots for blip.  I settled on this Alstroemeria or as some folk call it "lily of the Incas".  We bought one on the same day as he bought his, ours died his is thriving.  As the common name suggests it is native to South America, but is used as a garden plant worldwide and naturalised in many parts if the world including USA Canary Isle and Australia.
