Folkestone

I packed my bags on Monday evening and the Minx stayed in last night to do hers. And after a bit of work, this morning, we left Salford in the early afternoon.

The drive to Folkestone is not that exciting or scenic, but we chatted away, listened to some music, and arrived at the Holiday Inn in the early evening.

We opted to go into Folkestone for dinner, without high expectations, if I'm honest, but after we'd eaten we wandered down to the harbour, which showed signs of some serious and tasteful investment.

Pictured is the old railway station, but the whole area was a treat to wander 'round.
