Troon

Up and out the door early to catch the morning sun. While it didn’t last long it was good to get to the beach. The tide was out so very far and I had a nice walk on the beach. Before that it was coffee and a scone at a local cafe and a walk around the town. Nice shops and cafes and not dominated by high street stores. Friendly staff too! There was even South Australian wine in one of the shops! I bought local strawberries and a sausage roll for lunch. The wrought iron decoration was in a few places in town.
The train journey back was a culture shock. Hundreds of teens were heading to Glasgow, scantily clad, enjoying some drinks etc on their way to the Trnsmt concert. A different world!
The rain started late afternoon and into the evening. I headed to the movies and home to bed. A nice day!
