On the Net

OK, so this is my last allotment blip for a while, honest! We're off on holiday in a couple of days so it was a last chance this afternoon to tidy things up, get the seedlings planted out (please, please slugs - leave them alone!!), net the strawberries to try and keep the birds off and then give everything a good soaking. That was S's job, she's a dab hand with the garden hose! So that's it, I expect to come back to a jungle.

D&K called tonight to let us know that it's HOT in Phoenix. In my book, it's always hot there but apparently it's Extra HOT. They'll just have to keep the beer Extra COLD.
